And you can't see it but my 3 year old shoes from Wanted that are now know as my travelling boots.

On this chilly day in London I went to the James Bond 007 Exhibition at the Barbican. I hadn't been to the Barbican yet and what a great time to go. I have always had a secret obsession with 007. I am definitely more of a Sean Connery girl but I just love everything about it. The cars, the plots, the guns, the dripping wet ridiculously attractive females that always seem to be emerging from water then they are first introduced. I love the idea of this being such a fantasy world. Men want to be him, and women want to be with him. I am utterly obsessed with the first 7 movies with Connery. I love the cars and the fashion and just the style, everything is so classy but rugged at the same time.

Who is YOUR favourite Bond?

"The total box office takings for the last 20 Bond films is $3,818,000,000."

"James Bond's astrological sign is Scorpio"

"Asked why he chose the name James Bond, Fleming replied: "I wanted the simplest, dullest, plainest-sounding name I could think of. James Bond seemed perfect." He had seen the name as the author of a book entitled Birds Of The West Indies on his bookshelf."

"Ian Fleming also wrote Chitty Chitty Bang Bang but it's hard to see that being remade as a 007 thriller."

"There have bee seven American Bond Girls, four English ones, three French and 2 Swedish. There has only ever been one Bond girl from Switzerland , Italy, Japan, Poland and Malaysia."

"Bond was born in Germany , he was raised in Scotland and England , and considers himself to be Scottish."

"Bond is a smoker, but he quits in the 80s films, however, in the first Roger Moore movies Bond smokes cigars."

Cute things I found in the museum shop

Yes please

Stopped for a late lunch in the amazing cafe

It was so good yet to this day I am still not entirely sure what it was.

How lovely are the lights inside.

The outside courtyard. I went and saw the rest of the exhibition but photos were not allowed and security was oddly tight for a film museum so I didn't risk getting told off by strangers, I hate when that happens. When I left I got lost walking back to the station and had the nicest security guard not only ask me if I was ok and help me out with directions but he actually escorted me the whole way! It was so unexpected and sweet. Whilst walking we talked about our lives and what we were doing with ourselves. He was so lovely and I would just like to give a little shoutout to say thankyou. As I have said before and still live by to this day, always rely on the kindness of strangers.

Thankyou Miss MoneyPenny that's all that's all.

Garden Party with G

The day after I bleached my hair my best friend G had a family BBQ at her house. I met her dad for the first time and a lot of other fun characters who I couldn't remember there names now if my life depended on it but it was a lovely day.

Reading drunk messages from friends back home in Sydney

Writing a list of things for G to do in Paris.

The weather was oddly perfect and the sky was blue. It really was so lovely getting together and having a good old fashioned family BBQ. To be honest it made me so homesick. I spent most of the day reminiscing about the Woodward/ Zukowska annual family Xmas BBQ that happens in January. I imagined apple salad and getting drunk with L and John the Builder. Watching the family divide with Polish upstairs in the Kitchen and the Australians at the BBQ, and then watching the two sides combine to eat.

I love this garden, it always made me feel like I was Alice in Wonderland and that I would at any moment fall into a rabbit hole. But I think that already happened to me when I went through the security gates at Sydney airport and ended up in London.

That night we played backgammon with the mosquitoes and then we went out clubbing in South Croydon. And I didn't exactly have going out clothing so I went out looking like Minnie Mouse wearing G's clothing that were about 2 sizes too small.

But we had a good night and ended it with some disgusting unspecified street meat. But all in all it was a lovely day.

The photos where taken with G's Nikon, and most of them taken by her.
