This was our breakdown of Miami. The moment we arrived it began to rain and it did not let up until Washington unfortunately. We weren't going to let that ruin our day. Before we even got to the hotel we had an activity planned, we were going speed boating!!
While we were waiting for our boat to be ready I wandered the shops nearby and found a place even MORE extra than Claire's. I genuinely didn't think that was possible.
Rain and Pina Coladas in Miami, don't mind if I do.
Clearly way too excited for this boat tour with Candy.
Byron in his most Miami shirt.
Louis
Mansion spotting, saw a fair few celebrity places.
For some reason Tay was the only one on the whole boat who kept getting soaked. Some of us were completely dry afterwards. Tay was not..
Saw so many events and festivals advertised like this while we were in Miami. Seems like a very large investment hoping that people will be looking up at the sky.
One of the speed boat tour guides, best job ever. The speed boats were so much fun. This is an activity I would recommend if you are in Miami and have some extra time to kill. It actually was still really fun even though it was raining!
Spotted on the drive back to the hotel.
This hair is incredible!! So many gorgeous women on the Miami boardwalk!
That night we all got dressed up for a night out in Miami! We started at Moreno's Cuban Restaurant. This was buffet style, real traditional Cuban food and out of this world cocktails.
The next stop that night was Mango's. I won't lie it was super crowded in here and I don't remember much of our time as it was just very loud and hard to hear anyone. The dancing was really fun though. Every like 15 minutes or so the whole main area would light up and there would be these incredible dance performers with the peachiest bums I have ever seen.
After this we ended up at the Clevelander, which is like a mostly outdoor bar with a huge pool throughout the space. It made for an interesting place to down some more drinks before we all went back and crashed for the night.
The next morning we ate at Havana 1957 for breakfast. I ordered the Cubano, the giant sandwich you see at the front. Ham, cheese, roasted pork, pickles and mustard on Cuban bread. The girls all got variations of eggs and none of us were able to finish our meals.
The girls and I spent the day at Winwood Walls. This area was designed as a way to enhance the pedestrian potential in a warehouse thick area. It worked! The art we saw that day blew us all away. I will let the pictures speak for me.
After we spent a few hours wandering around the walls, we took a cab back to the beach and hired some bikes.
Purchased some cute souvenir hats.
And just really made a day of it.
It may have been cloudy all day with a slight dribble here and there, but we made the most out of it.
I broke off from the girls to have a little solo wander. Stumbled upon some of the best sushi I have ever eaten in a random little shop downtown.
When I got back to the hotel, the boys had just rented some Harley's and were heading down to the keys for the afternoon. Kaiden took me for a ride around the block. Now I can officially say I rode on the back of a Harley in Miami, and it was so much fun! Sorry mum!
That night we had our booze boat party. We all decided on a white dress code, this would be an unfortunate coincidence later on in the night.
Contiki went all out, they even got a photographer for the night, so we could focus all of our energy on getting as blotto as possible. Great, sounded like a plan!
This was without a doubt one of the most fun nights we had together.
Looking sober as a cat
Despite the consistent drizzle of rain throughout the night, we all had an absolute blast. We were all at a really great level of litness by this point, even the bus ride to the bar was out of this world fun!
This was before the night got wild. If you can believe that. After this we ended up at a foam party. If you watch my video you will see how that went. I am going to leave this as the final photo because I think it sums up Miami pretty well, a hot mess of fun, and I can't wait to go back!
